SATRA TM93 6 Group Shoe Hole Eyelet and Shoelace Abrasion Testing Machine passes a section of the shoelace through a shoe eye held by a fiberboard. The shoelace is bent 90 degrees through the shoe eye, and the two parts of the fiberboard and shoelace are each at a 45-degree angle. Then, the shoelace is tightened under a standard load and repeatedly pulled back and forth through the shoelace.
