RT-745 Dynamic Shear Rheometer Test For Bitumen

The DSR dynamic shear rheometer is mainly used to measure the asphalt binder’s rheological properties (complex shear modulus, phase angle, etc.) at high temperatures. The SHRP dynamic shear rheometer (DSR) measures the viscoelasticity of aged or unaged asphalt, modified or unmodified asphalt in the 5-90 degrees Celsius temperature range. According to the AASHTO MP1 method, asphalt is tested at a specified temperature on a circular flat plate between 25mm/8mm, and the sample’s complex shear modulus and phase angle are measured by applying a known moment. Use corresponding software for stress-strain control.

RT-745 High Efficient DSR Dynamic Shear Rheometer is used to study the rheological properties of asphalt, such as SHRP (Strategic Highway Research Program) grading measurement, multi-stress creep measurement, strain scanning measurement, viscosity measurement, etc. It can be used to measure matrix asphalt, polymer-modified, rubber powder-modified, and aged asphalt after pressure aging and rotary film oven treatment. By measuring the dynamic shear modulus G * and phase angles of asphalt, the viscosity (nonrecoverable) and elasticity (recoverable) properties of aged and unaged asphalt in the temperature range of 5-85 ℃ are evaluated, and the ability to resist rutting and fatigue cracking is predicted.
