RT-SCT Short Distance Compression Tester can quickly measure the compression strength of corrugated board and corrugated paper. The compressive strength determines the stackability of corrugated boxes. The purpose of measuring the compressive strength is to help manufacturers to produce cartons with high compressive strength with as few raw materials as possible.

Working Principle

a 15mm wide sample clip in two 0.7mm apart between the clip distance compression. Until the failure, the maximum compression force is measured, and the compression strength is counted.
